I have a plan. I have neatly planned each segment of my thesis writing into three-week slots. This plan seemed flawless. However, I am now entering my final week of the three weeks allocated to planning and fine-tuning my methodological approach having done very little to produce a satisfactory outcome. I am a prolific planner (see photo). I have a page-a-day handwritten diary, I use Apple’s calendar, I have a wall planner AND I even create a weekly ‘to-do’ list to parallel my ‘thesis plan/timeline’. Why have my plans become ineffective? Why can’t I stick to my deadlines?

I need to find a way to jumpstart my thesis writing…
